Chapter 31: The best of charity is that which is given when one is healthy and inclined to be stingy
باب بَيَانِ أَنَّ أَفْضَلَ الصَّدَقَةِ صَدَقَةُ الصَّحِيحِ الشَّحِيحِ
Sahih Muslim 1032 c
This hadith has been narrated with the same chain of transmitters except with this change (of words)
" Which charity is most excellent?"حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ الْجَحْدَرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَارَةُ بْنُ الْقَعْقَاعِ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ جَرِيرٍ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَىُّ الصَّدَقَةِ أَفْضَلُ .
